Did you know that bears have the best sense of smell of any animal on earth. A dog can smell 10x better than a human, a bear 2100x better than a human. If they smell a dirty wrapper at your campsite and show up, they find their way back to the same place for months or even years. If a black bear charges at you, FIGHT WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE. rocks, sticks etc. do NOT play dead! If a brown bear/grizzly attacks you, play dead.
