OFF ROAD VEHICLE OPERATION

Rules for registering and operating an ORV are governed by The Drivers and Vehicles Act and The Off-Road Vehicles Act of Manitoba

GP RV Resort is privately owned land. As a seasonal guest, you have permission to operate your ORV on GP property providing you are following the rules as set out by:

  • GP RV Resort Management

Each ORV must be appropriately

registered with proof of registration provided to GP

GP RV Resort guests required to follow rules and laws laid out by DVA & ORVA

Every ORV must be registered on www.grandpalmsrv.com at Member Only

  • Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to operate ORVs unless supervised, and

accompanied by an adult and at all times

  • All-terrain vehicles and other off-road vehicles are registered with one license plate at MPI dealer
  • Insurance protection includes Accident benefits, 3rd Party Liability, Collision Protection, Comprehensive
  • Always wear a helmet & seatbelt
  • Always use trail etiquette (stay Right)
  • Impaired driving laws apply

GOLF CART & ORV USE AT GP

ORVs do not include golf carts under the DVA & ORVA.

All ORV’s & Golf carts must be numbered by GP, linking them to your site

  • Ride at your own risk, GP assumes no liability for damages or injuries.
  • Stop signs and speed limits are to be adhered to at all times
  • ORV/GC must be operated in a safe responsible manner at all times
  • Keep driving to a minimum after 6pm on the property

Failure to operate your ORV or Golf Cart in a responsible manner as set out in the DVA, ORVA, HTA, and by GP may result in:

  • Injuries
  • Damages to property
  • Fines by RCMP
  • Loss of privileges at GP
